Day 9
This morning, after an eventful weekend the girls were back at St. George’s starting off the day in class 2. Georgie, Emma, and Emily led this class with a short game of ‘Simon Says’, followed by a few rounds of hangman. The class enjoyed this the most! The girls ended the class with some dances outside, we were playing music on the speaker loudly, so the class began singing along with it. Our next class of the day was class 3, led by Ruby and Katie. We made fortune tellers with the girls, explaining how to fold them, colour them, and come up with creative questions to ask each other. All the students seemed to really enjoy making them. The fortune tellers could be seen throughout the day being used in the halls and yard. Class 6 was taught by all the girls. As a group, we described and demonstrated how one of the more complicated Céilí dances that we do at home is done.
